Frequently asked questions
I'm new to this. Which class is appropriate for me?
Depends on what you're looking for. Some prefer starting with AERIAL YOGA for its slower pace. AERIAL WORK is a conditioning class in which you'll build strength and endurance. AERIAL PLAY involves learning tricks.
Don't worry if you're not sure! Our teachers give options to work on, and won't expect you to get every trick right away. It's all about trying something new, getting strong and having fun along the way.
Where do I park?
The parking entrance is behind the building, on Davis Street. Look for the sign that says RETAIL V|P PARKING.
Park near G1 Retail Elevator #3. Take the elevator to level one, we're to the left down the breezeway.
Sometimes there is street parking available right out front too!
What should I wear?
Close fitting apparel, as loose fabric will get in the way. No shoes, socks, jewelry or zippers that could snag the hammock.
We recommend leggings and full coverage tops (not shorts or crop tops), until you become comfortable moving in the hammock. It can be easy to get rope burns while you're first learning poses!
Should I bring anything?
A water bottle to keep next to your mat! We are an eco-conscious studio and have a filtered water station but do not provide disposable cups. Boxed Water is available for purchase.
We provide cushy exercise mats, so no need to bring your own.
Can I show up a little late?
Warming up at the start of class is essential for a positive aerial experience.
For the safety and enjoyment of all our students, we do not allow late arrival to our classes, and ask that you arrive 5 minutes before class start time.
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your very first class to allow time to read and sign our waiver, and for a brief introduction to our studio.
What happens if I miss class or late cancel?
We have 15 aerial hammocks, so when you sign up for class you are reserving one of those spots.
Our cancellation window is 4 hours. As long as you cancel 4 hours or more before class start time, you're all set.
Failure to attend class, or cancelling less than 4 hours in advance, will result in one class from your account being marked as used, just as if you had attended class.
If you are using a membership or unlimited offer, the no-show/late cancel fee is $10, which will be charged automatically.
